The Sparco brand was started in 1977 by a pair of racing drivers that shared a passion for racing safety. In 1978 they produced their first race suit, and began manufacturing other items of safety clothing, including race shoes, gloves, and helmets. Sparco Mechanic's gloves are designed to offer the crew member fantastic comfort, optimum grip, and safety. All Sparco Mechanics gloves for 'over-the-wall' are constructed from a double layer Nomex fabric and conform to current FIA 8856-2018 regulations.
