Arai CK-6 Junior Karting Helmet | Sube Sports

Arai CK-6 kart helmet is specially made for junior Kart drivers up to 15-years old. The CK-6 helmet meets the SNELL CMR 2016 regulations. Valid in CIK-FIA international karting class. The lightweight CK-6 features a SFL outer shell and both outer and inner shell are specially developed for a perfect fit on children's heads. Four ventilation ducts on top of the helmet with effective ventilation slots in the chin piece.

The Snell-FIA CMH 2016 (Children's Motorsport Helmet) approval was developed to provide a suitable helmet for children to use in Motorsport, rather than a helmet design for an adult head (& neck) which is then shrunk down to youth sizes. This new standard only accepts helmets for head circumferences under 60cms, so children with a larger head should go for the SA and K standards. The CMH standard sets different maximum weight limits depending on size, with 1300 grams being the maximum weight for a full face helmet sizes 57-59cms and 1100 grams the maximum weight for sizes 49cms and under.

With two World Championships, one European and five British karting championships won in 2008 by Arai users, the Japanese factory has worked closely with the FIA and Snell to produce its first ever extra, extra small (XXS) motorsport helmet. Young drivers can now be assured of an original Arai CMH approved helmet with all the features unique to Arai's motorsports heritage.

The Arai CK-6 includes a 4-point inlet/exhaust ventilation system with a dual chin vent, multi-density hybrid inner shell and a CoolMax washable lining. The Arai CK-6 features a taller eye-port with a 90mm aperture utilizing a 2mm thick visor complete with tear off posts and utilizing Arai's advanced visor pivot system. Snell-FIA CMH 2016 Approved.
