The OMP Grand Prix SA2005 helmet is new for 2007 as their premier open-wheel helmet replacing the old Formula Integrale. The OMP Grand Prix helmet features an aerodynamic, light weight, composite construction, pre-drilled to accomodate Hans' posts with a narrow eye port designed for use in open wheel racing. The Grand Prix comes complete with Nomex lining and Kevlar chin strap for added fire retardancy. Two chin vents on the front and three rotating air vents on the top of the helmet improve ventilation, while small an integrated top spoiler increase stability and decrease buffeting. The Grand Prix also includes a 3mm scratch resistant anti-fog polycarbonate sheild with CNC machined aluminum hardware and positive lock down hinge. SA2005/FIA 8858-2002 certified.
